I found myself in a situation I was not sure what to do about; my horse I had been riding and playing with for a couple of years had come up lame so I had been using a friends horse. Unfortunately, we had a bad accident and I became very unconfident.
At first I did not think so but I went to ride him again and the fear set in, I could not get on. At home I had another horse that I decided to try; he had 8 months training and was pretty solid.
So, I contacted Stephanie Clark at Double W Ranches which was just down the HWY from me to see if I could spend some time with her to help get going again, and I am glad I did. She really helped me feel confident enough to try, we only walked but I got on that day!!
You could hear and feel the excitement for miles around. We did a variety of things that kept both horse and human interested and challenged. We had so much fun I can’t wait to do it again! Developing good horsemanship skills enhanced our relationship which in turn, strengthened our partnership. That’s what it is all about.
Double W Ranches Natural Horsemanship Academy is a first class facility to start with but really its #1 asset is Stephanie Clark of Cornerstone Natural Horsemanship. She is very patient, focused and professional but I think her real strengths are her ability to teach, make you feel comfortable and safe and keep it fun.
Thanks Stephanie, I’ll be back!!!

I work for Shiloh Youth Ranch, which is a summer camp in Alberta, Canada. I had Stephanie come out to help with some of the horses that we use here with our students. The greatest thing that she assisted us with was how to gently help the horse get over his/her fears, which included one of our horses that we were unable to load into a trailer without it becoming very dangerous for all involved.
Stephanie gave us tools to help our horses excel in so many areas. Everything from fears to just bettering the connection between horse and rider. The tools she gave us were easy enough that a beginner rider could use them but also provided us instructors with great tools for more advanced riders.
Myself and the other instructor, throughout the summer, were able to incorporate many of the ideas she gave us into our program. All of the kids, teens and instructors like myself that come out here to the ranch have benefited from Stephanie. Thank you so much for your time!

We spent a day with Stephanie Clark learning about the methods and techniques of Natural Horsemanship. We were all amazed at how quickly we could see positive results when Stephanie showed us how to appeal to our horse’s natural instincts and communicate with them by using our body language. Thanks so much Stephanie we had a great day and learned some invaluable horsemanship skills.
